F.A.Q.

Here are a few frequently asked questions ... 

1. Do you have a physical store and what are the hours ?

I did but I now just operate as on online store with parcel pick up or mailing. Orders can be picked up at our Family Feed Store at 163 Main Street, Middleton. It is just behind the building where I used to operate my physical store. You can pick up parcels there from Monday to Friday 10am to 4:45pm and Saturday from 9am to noon. 

2. Why isn't your physical store open any more and why aren't you open more hours ?

 I wear quite a few hats and decided that I needed to make more time for my other jobs. Thus the online store. The other days I do the book keeping, payroll, advertising, order receiving, and inventory entry/control for our other businesses.  I  also work on mail orders, package products, design kits, make jewelry for my other business, try to figure out laser cutting, and anything else that needs to get done !

3. How do I get FREE PICK UP ?

Easy ! After you order, I'll assemble your order and let you know when it's ready. You can then pick it up in Middleton (Nova Scotia) if you are local. You can pick the order up at  our feed store (just behind my store) any day except Sunday. Hours are listed above. 

 4. How can I pay for my order ?

You can pay with a credit card - the site is secure. Or you can send an email transfer. Just choose the option at checkout that best suits you. If you choose email transfer , you can checkout and then send the transfer within 24 hours. Your order will be processed upon receipt of the transfer. The email address and password will be given to you at checkout if you chose that option. 

** Please be aware ... there may be a delay before I receive your EMT . I check my email every weekday morning . So if it is sent on a Friday night, it will be Monday morning before I get it and can process the order. There is a (small) chance that some items could sell out in that time. It probably won't be a big issue but the possibility is there. Credit card sales are processed immediately by the server. 

5. Shipping (within Canada) ... how much will it cost ? 

Well, if your order is over $150 before taxes*, the answer is nothing ! Free !   Psst ... there are a few other ways to get free shipping ... see question #5.

 6. You said there were other ways to get free shipping ... don't leave us hanging !!

Well there is HOLD 150. That means that you can make your purchases and I'll hold them until they reach $150 (before tax). When they do, I'll ship them off to you for free !

Combined Orders (or an excuse to get together !) Simply chat with your friends. If they all have smaller orders, why not place them at the same time ? Choose one address for shipping and have all the orders shipped together . Just add a message to let me know who I am shipping to. As long as the order is over $150, it will be free. If it isn't, it will still cost you less as you can all split the $12 shipping charge. Easy as that !! I'll package each order in a labelled bag and them put them all in the same box.

7. What if I can't find what I want ? Do you do special orders ?

I certainly do ! For stamps, dies, papers etc... try my other website. It is actually a direct link to my supplier's catalog and we've partnered to make it available to you. https://classichobbies.orderz.ca You can order there, pay a 50% deposit,  and it will be shipped to me. All the same shipping costs/free pick up/ etc apply to products sold there. Combine orders from here and there  !

If you are looking for beading supplies that I don't have on the site, let me know. I am still working on posting stock. So I may have what you are looking for or I may be able to order it. I'm happy to look for you. All special orders must be prepaid. 

8. What about returns ?                                                                                     Please contact me if you have an issue with your order. I'll do my best to resolve the issue.  But , please note that all sale & clearance items are final sale. There is no return on items used for cutting. Most sales are final but we can discuss on a case by case basis. Any items to be returned must be unopened and unused. You are responsible for any shipping charges incurred.
